Registered ManagerList Item 1
As a Registered Manager you will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance and relevant legislation are adhered to.
You will be responsible for the development and supervision of the care team in the home.
You will also be accessible for the children to speak with and build strong bonds and relationships with.
Requirements
You must have worked in the residential sector, ideally children's services, for at least 5 years.
- Must hold NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- Must have a DBS, update service preferred.
- Willing to work towards Level 5 in Leadership and Management if not already held.
- Preferably TCI trained or willing to work towards.
- It is essential that you are flexible, good communicator and are able to keep accurate records.
- You should be able to work on your own initative, as well as being able to work as part of a team effectively.
Duties Include
- Assist with the opening of the new Children's Home.
- Be registered for the home as the manager by OFSTED.
- Ensure the service is safe, effective and meets OFTSED standards.
- Recruit, manage and develop the care team.
- Responsible for training and development.
- Report writing.
- Hold a good understanding of legislation of running a Children's Home.

Waking NightList Item 2
Hours - 22:00-10:00, Monday to Sunday.
£12.50 p/h, 28 days annual leave.
Requirements
- All care team members must be at least 22 years of age, this is in-line with current regulations.
- Hold Level 4 NVQ Residential Childcare/ Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent.
- Full UK driving license, no driving points/disqualifications, able to drive manual cars.
- DBS, update service preferred.
- Experience working as a waking night in a residental setting is also preferred.
Duties
- Supporting children in the home with their bedtime routine.
- Supporting children throughout the night, providing emotional support.
- Completing welfare checks.
- Accurately log information and complete paperwork in relation to the children and the home.
- Work as part of a team to provide the highest level of care.
- Assist with facilitating the children's education -eg school run.
All members of the care team will be given full TCI training as part of their mandatory training. Professional devlopment will be on-going in the home. All memebrs of the care team will have monthly supervisions with their line manager and also clinical supervisions with a psychotherapist. All members of the care team to attend team meetings on a monthly basis.

Senior Care WorkerList Item 3
Hours - 37.5 hrs, Monday- Sunday, Full time, evenings and weekends .
28 days annual leave.
£11.50-12.50p/h depending on experience.
£8 p/h sleep rate.
Requirements
- Hold Level 4 NVQ Residential Childcare or Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent.
- Full UK driving license, no driving points/disqualifications, able to drive manual car.
- DBS, update service preferred.
- Minimum age 22 years old.
- Experience working in residential childcare setting or fostering - essential.
- Competent IT skills.
Duties
- Reporting to Team Leader.
- Report writing.
- Ensuring all children's files are audited and updated monthly, ready for OFSTED and Reg 44.
- Ensure all key working sessions are complete and logged.
- Inform On Call of any issues out of hours.
- Budgeting for children's finances.
- Ensuring that all checks and paper work is complete - children's finances, health and safety, medication etc.
- Safeguard all children in the home.
- Attend meetings relating to the children - CLA, school meeings.
- Attend and facilitate appoinments, activites, contact.
- Take charge of the day-to-day running of the home through running the shift.
- Support all children in the home and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.

All memebrs of the care team will have monthly supervisions with their line manager and also clinical supervisions with a psychotherapist. All members of the care team must also attend team meetings on a monthly basis.

Requirements
- Hold Level 4 NVQ Residential Childcare or Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent.
- Full UK driving license, no driving points/disqualifications, able to drive manual car.
- DBS, update service preferred.
- Minimum age 22 years old.
- Experience working in residential childcare setting or fostering - preferred but not required, must have an interest of working in this sector - eg studying at university.
- Competent IT skills.
Duties
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the home.
- Supporting the children in the home to attend education, activites, contact etc.
- Attend appointments relating to the chidlren in the home - doctors, school meetings.
- Administering medication.
- Domestic duties in the home, ensuring the home is a clean and tidy evironment to live.
- Engage in key working sessions with the children.
- Complete checks such as health and safety, finance, medication.
- Log events and complete paper work relating to chidlren in the home.

All memebrs of the care team will have monthly supervisions with their line manager and also clinical supervisions with a psychotherapist .
